20th November, all day – Y7 Thales Scratch winners on site visit (NFr)
10th December (2 hours) – Y10 Antweight robot challenge (DCu / ARo)
26th January, 5-7.30pm – “Women in STEM” educators-professionals forum at Millais (DCu)
27th January, all day – “EDT / RAF sponsored Girls in STEM Day” (DCu / SVe)
3rd February, ½ day – 8 x Y12 students site visit to CGG (LBu)
9th February, 6-8.30pm - Y8 STEM Family Challenge (DCu, CGa, SVe)
15th – 19th February – 5 x KS4 & 5 students on work experience at Thales
16th March, 6-8pm – “IET Great Egg Race” (STEMSussex / DCu)
21st March, all day (UoB Compact) – 15 x Y10 students on Chemistry taster day (LBu)

14th June, P3 & 4 – WP (UoB Compact) / STEMSussex “Forensics” workshop for 30 x Y10 students (LBu)

6. Thales' Treasure Hunt
Afterwards the students had the opportunity to hear from STEM industry specialists about the type of careers they could enjoy; this really opened their eyes to the wide variety of careers open to them in STEM related subjects.
